چکیده

Abstract Dynamic adsorption of dead-immobilized Saccharomyces cerevisiae on Pb in continuous-upflow reactor was studied through orthogonal experiment to investigate the optimal operating parameters of pH value、flow rate、adsorbent concentration as well as affect factors, such as yeast diameter、initial Pb concentration and initial pH value. It showed that the optimal conditions were of pH6、flow rate 5mL/min、adsorbent concentration 80 g/L. And the optimal diameter was 2.5mm, initial Pb concentration 20mg/L, optimal pH value 6. In the early 40 minutes of the experiment, Ct/C increased fast, which indicated that a majority of, up to 92% of Pb was adsorbed. The adsorption process by dead-immobilized discarded Saccharomyces cerevisiae in continuous-upflow reactor was very fast. It was feasible to wipe off Pb in wastewater by continuous-upflow reactor, which could guide future researchers and establish foundation for its industrialization. An Experimental Study on the Operational Factors Affecting the Oil Content of Wax during Dewaxing Process: Adopting a DOE Method

The oil content of the wax produced in a dewaxing process is the key economic parameter that should be reduced as much as possible. Some factors such as the type of solvents, cooling rate, temperature, and solvent to oil ratio influence the dewaxing process. Due to the fact that crude oil differs from place to place and since the operational conditions for wax extraction vary for different type...

On local gamma factors for orthogonal groups and unitary groups

‎In this paper‎, ‎we find a relation between the proportionality factors which arise from the functional equations of two families of local Rankin-Selberg convolutions for‎ ‎irreducible admissible representations of orthogonal groups‎, ‎or unitary groups‎. ‎One family is that of local integrals of the doubling method‎, ‎and the other family is‎ ‎that of local integrals expressed in terms of sph...

تأثیر سطوح مختلف شوری و عناصر سنگین سرب و کادمیوم بر رشد، رنگدانه‌های فتوسنتزی و مقادیر سدیم و پتاسیم در اسفناج

Heavy metals (HMs) are hazardous environmental pollutants which by entering the food chain cause harm to humans, plants and other organisms. In order to study the effects of salinity and lead (Pb) and cadmium (Cd) HMs on spinach plant, a factorial, pot experiment, based on complete randomized blocks design, was carried out in 2013 in College of Agriculture, Shahrood University of Technology. CFD Simulation and Optimization of Factors Affecting the Performance of a Fluidized Bed Dryer

Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) is a computational technology that enables researchers to study the dynamics of things that flow. By using CFD, it is possible to build a computational model that represents a system under study. It not only predicts fluid flow behavior, but also the transfer of heat, mass, phase change, chemical reaction, mechanical movement, and stress or deformation of ...

Effect of silicon nutrition on growth, physiology and biochemical of dill (Anethum graveolens L) under Pb stress conditions.

Silicon is one of the beneficial elements for plants, recent studies have shown that this element plays a very important role in plant resistance to environmental stresses, including heavy metal stress. To evaluate the effect of silicon foliar spraying on increasing tolerance to lead contamination in dill (Anethum graveolens L) a factorial experiment based on completely randomized design with f...
